“Discovering Paradise: A Journey Through the Best of Grand Cayman Islands”

We have a goal to visit a new place each year and the Caribbean is one of our favorite places, hands down.

This year we visited Grand Cayman Island & honestly I can’t wait to go back and take the kids.

Grand Cayman is known for its crystal clear waters and diverse marine life, making it a popular destination for snorkeling and diving. The locals are friendly and we felt right at home.

These are just a few of the many must-see attractions and activities that Grand Cayman Island has to offer

Seven Mile Beach – a picturesque white sand beach that is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. I feel like I need to go back to see more of Grand Cayman because the days we started at the beach, we never left. The water is gorgeous, the temperature was perfect and once I got in the water I couldn’t make myself get out. It was the ideal Caribbean water and view.

Stingray City – a unique experience where you can interact with friendly stingrays in their natural habitat. This was by far our favorite part of the trip!! If you are deciding whether to add this stop on your trip or not, it is a MUST DO! Such a cool, once in a lifetime experience.

We rented a private boat through Island Splash Watersports for the eight of us. It was a half day tour to Stingray City, Starfish Point and snorkeling. We made three total stops and it was the best day of our trip. The captain was fun and friendly and the experience was worthwhile. When else can you HOLD a starfish and a stingray in the same day!

One of our goals while we were in Grand Cayman was to swim with sea turtles. We woke up early one morning and headed to Spotts Beach where you can swim with them naturally but unfortunately, it was really windy that morning.

We still hung out for a little bit then decided to head to the Cayman Turtle Centre. We did not know Dolphin Discovery was right across the street so with one stop we were able to swim with dolphins, swim with turtles, have access to a pool and see other wildlife. We ended up spending most of the day here and thoroughly enjoyed it!

For dinner, head to Tukka on the east end by 5pm to hand feed the birds. The food and drinks were good, outdoor seating and a relaxed atmosphere.

Go to Hell! Take a stop to visit hell, get your passport stamped, see the post office and snap a few pictures. We were there for literally twenty minutes but it was a fun little stop and attraction while in the islands.

Visit the Bioluminescense Bay! We did a private boat tour and were really not sure what to expect. I chickened out and did not get in but we could watch as our friends swam around, the water around them would literally glow. It was a neat experience but a little underwhelming, in my opinion. Definitely worth a visit but not sure I would go for a second time.

Overall, I highly recommend Grand Cayman. It was one of my top three places we have ever visited and four days was not quite long enough!
